I love way too many songs to ever list...and I really like all types of music, just as long as it sounds good to me, then I'll like it. However, I don't listen to Country or Poka music! And I very rarely listen to any Hip-Hop or Rap. Other than that, my range is from Metal to Classical.

Anybody into bluegrass? Josh Graves? Bill Monroe? Aww, come on! I know everyone has heard of Alison Krauss and Union Station. They're not technically old school, but you gotta get the masses to listen somehow.

Actually, they were the boys from Union Station. That movie did a lot to bring bluegrass to the general public.
You listen to bluegrass?

I'm not hard core blues either, but my wife is a hard core Allison Krauss fan. I did however go see B.B. King and John Lee Hooker when they came to town and got blown right off the floor and Stevie Ray played that guitar like it was on fire. I think O'Brother got a raw deal from the critics, the movie was hilarious and the soundtrack was excellent.
"We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of the dream. Wandering by lone sea breakers, and sitting by desolate streams. World losers and world forsakers, for whom the pale moon gleams. Yet we are movers and the shakers of the world forever it seems." - Arthur O'Shaunessey

"Austin City Limits" just replayed some old Stevie Ray concerts on the week-end. Your local Network might have the same program this week. It was really worth watching.
