Hi herd.

Here's my problem. I have a bunch of anime avi files I want to burn to DVD but when I burn them and play them on my set top DVD player, the top and bottom of the video is cut off. Had the same problem with the Doctor Who movie I burned.
I'm using NeroVision Express (came with my DVD burner). From what I have read, I might have to convert them to mpeg2 format but I'm not sure. I've gone to some of the DVD sites and can't make heads or tails.

Any help would be great.

Yeah, MPEG2 is pretty much the standard for DVD players. There's also a chance that the aspect ratio is off for some reason. Let me know if it works as MPEG2

WinAvi Video convertor can be bit torrent ed and works well on everything I have thrown at it. If the avi wont burn with nero I convert it to an avi with this program and then I can burn it. It works on rm files and many others.
