Ok I have been using p2p for quite some time now,a very long time in fact,i
use azureus client for all my downloading,no firewall,no router just a simple cable modem wich has no setup of its own so there is no need to foward any ports.Ok my question is the following,is it possible for my isp to completely block me from using any p2p app to download anything,i ask this because my isp was adelphia and it switched to onelink. And ever since the change took place about 3 days ago, i have not been able to download a damn thing through any p2p clients, and i have tried a few.It connects to the seeds and the peers like it normally would but it does not download anything. And yet i am able to download from my newsgroup servers fine.If anybody can shed any ligth on this i would be very gratefull as i am going nuts over this, and would like to know if it is possible for an isp provider to do that or if it is some hardware problem wit my comp.

It is possible they could be blocking those ports or programs some systems out there can filter out p2p network traffic from other programs, you can check their web site and see if they list anything usually they will if they do or just call and ask them.

Usually if you can connect and get to that point then its probably not a issue of it being blocked, then it could be they limit traffic to p2p programs or their network just isnt as good as your old isp so your getting slower speeds.
