Problem with my % dropped on my download in limewire

I was downloading a .avi file it's over 600mb and i've been downloading it on and off for 3 days now. it was at 66% then next time i open limewire it went to 17% when i started downloading it. I was wondering should i be worried about this or is it gonna go back to the percent before? Because i can go to the incomplete folder and open the file and skip threw parts of it when i play it in media player classic. But i can tell it's not fully complete but i know it's more then 17% complete. So is it just going back to download in the rest of the piece's of the file or something? could somebody pls help thx in advance

That's strange. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is, did you turn your computer off without shutting it down? When shutting down windows saves recent stuff you have done.

nope i always shut my pc down but it's even wierder because i can play the movie in vlc or mpc and skip threw parts but tell it's not completer but i know it's over 50% and since i was at 66% and it dropped to 17% i don't know what to do somebody suggested a currupt hash to me but i have no ideal what hash there talking about

you can compare the file size of the temp file from before you shut it down and when it gives you the lower precent to see. This sounds like a bug with limewire try getting the latest version if there is a new one than the one you have available if you have the latest try seeing if limewire has a beta forum or someplace to report bugs and see if anyone mentioned it there and if not create a thread about it.
