Not that I am aware of. Some of the newer DVD Players were supposed to support DivX, but I haven't seen any yet. :(
I took the advice of MamiyaOtaru and got a TV out Video card, and ran an S-Video cable to my TV. Works perfectly, especially since I got my PC sound going to my stereo. I don't know if that is practical for everyone or not, but it works great for me. ;)

check out vcdhelp.com they have a list of supported media by dvd players. i've heard of programs that will allow your dvd player to play divx, but never messed with them, i don't want to kill my dvd player should it not work. i've heard really good stuff about the xbox as a media player, in fact it was listed as one of the best on the vcdhelp site, you have to mod it though, and that's a pain i guess. we have one, but my bro's don't want to mod it, its too much of a risk. for divx though, i just did the s-video thing from my comp to tv, cause they're right next to each other, i think it looks nicer coming from a standalone, but if your more than 3 feet away, its not a big deal.
voltumn@ lemme know when u get it , i can point u in the right direction for everything .. www.xbox-scene.com is a good place to start .. the computer hooked up to the tv with tvout is the best thing i have ever done tho :]
