I just got a DVD writer and am wondering what the best software to use for it is. At the moment i have "Pinnacle instant cd/dvd" and that seems pretty good. Any others worth getting?

The thing that's worked the best for me for cloning dvd's is dvd shrink, both versions 1 and 2. Version 1 usually does the job and it's faster, version 2 has higher compression levels. VCDHelp.com is a great site for all that stuff.

Yeah i use DVD Shrink too, its pretty good but has problems reading from my new DVD writer, so i have to rip the DVD with DVD Decrypter then use "Open Files" and go from there to back up a DVD.
