Why are ya thankin amber????
Oh well, ya always manage to crack me up, even when ya aint tryin.
To answer your question, I am not sure what kind of files you want to copy over to your computer, but most files can just be copied and pasted. If they are read only, you will have to go into the files properties and change it. Highlight the files, right click, choose copy. Go to wherever you want to put the file on your computer, right click, choose paste and viola'.
Does this help?
Thanks rasta:dontknow:

So what kind of CD's are they? I have my own method for getting CD images on my hard drive. I use CloneCD to copy it (the CD image goes to C:\Windows\temp folder) The image.img file is the one you want. You'll need to rename the image file to something else. After that, make another folder on the desktop and cut and paste the images into it. Then I use another program called Daemon Tools to load the image up in a virtual CDROM drive.
After you install Daemon Tools, click on the program icon and it will make a little system tray icon (by the clock), then go to 'Virtual CD\DVD-ROM' then to 'set number of devices' (it only goes up to 4), after you set your number of virtual CDROM's you want go to 'device 0-4' (starting at 0) and select 'mount image' and point it to the folder you have the images in and finally to the image itself.
I hope that helps and I also hope I didn't get too technical. If I did, just let me know and I'll help out some more.

do u mean music cd's or data cd's?
If it's music cd's then you need a cd ripper. My fav on is dbpoweramp (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/)
It's pretty good and free. You can rip your cds to monkey's audio for the highest quality possibe(need to get the codec from their site) or just .mp3 or oggvorbis.
If you want dsta cds I would just select the files and then copy/paste.
