The identity of the half-blood prince is no doubt one of the most awaited secrets in the sixth book of the adventures of the young magician Potter.
Millions of children and adults will meet Friday evening at bookstores all over the world to wait for midnight and get a copy of the sixth book in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling under the title "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince".
This new release is expected to break all records. Bookstores are hosting midnight release parties and some of them are even boasting about having already more than 750,000 pre-orders of the book. It seems this one might be one of the biggest days in publishing history.
This time the secret lies into two different questions. The former one about the identity of the one to die. Author JK Rowling has already revealed that there will be a death in her sixth Potter novel. The latter, however, goes even farther: Who is the half-blood prince? There were even some of Britain's gambling chains taking bets taking bets on which character will die in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
At 00.01am on Saturday 16th July JK Rowling will read from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in the Great Hall of Edinburgh Castle. This moment will be beamed by satellite transmission to television and radio stations around the globe and photographs of it made available to print media.
