I've got to tell you, the new TOTO CD kicks serious a**!! It's getting rave reviews as the best thing they've done since their early albums.

It's called "Falling In Between" has old and newer lead singers. melodicrock gives it 10 out of 10... I agree.

The new Queensryche "Operation Mindscrime II" is also and awesome disk. IT has two or three guest voices... Ronnie James Dio included as Dr X.

The First one Box Man, whats that about ? never heard of it
I like your book list can I join your book club. You have yet to read Ayn Rand, Carlos Casteneda or George Orwell

.
Sure thing...if I think of some other books, I'll be sure to let you know...

The Box Man is about Japanese society, and the idea of giving up a self-identity. Its about how one must do that before being able to see the world.

I thought of a few others

A Pale View of Hills - I don't remember the Author
Time's Arrow - Amis

I'll get the authors when I get back to my apartment.

I've read Anthem, by Rand, but never have I attempted any of her largers books.

Sadly, I've not yet read 1984...or Animal Farm....I will some day.

Hey America, look around, the Federal Reserve http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=federal+reserve&page=1&lv=0&so=0
took over and will soon create another depression.
If you were to educate yourself about the true history of america and the criminals who control it now.

We are controlled by a small group of dominate men. The worst ruled and most completely controlled government in the civilized world. Some of the biggest men in the United States are afraid of something. They know that there is a power, so organized, so subtle, so interlocked, so complete that they had better not speak above their breath, when they speak in condemnation of it.-Woodrow Wilson

I enjoyed that video. I saw the movie, but wasn't overly impressed by its production. It brings up a lot of good points, but a lot of the things they talk about are theories, and not yet coorborated evidence yet. Either way, I liked it!

I was wondering if anyone watched this one "THE ILLUMINATI" - Featuring DAVID ICKE ?
It's about four videos down the page. It gets really interesting after the first ten minutes. The stuff about Colombia is worth looking into, I wonder why everything is Columbia the shuttle, the district, ect ...

There is a chance that I'll be working for ABC, FOX and the like. Not in the news or anything like that. Don't think that I could handle that. My interview with ABC went pretty well. He said it was mostly an informal thing, so he is going to have me come back for more of a formal interview. He said it was supposed to happen some time this week.

In other news, I have another interview tomorrow, for some sort of web copywriter, but I don't think that I really want that job, but I'm going to go anyway.

And I still haven't heard anything from the University... about the job there. But that's no surprise. They suck at getting anything done.

Yeah, we had it pretty bad here in mid-missouri. I think we had three tornado touch-downs. But nothing close to where I live... well, 40 miles away or so, but yeah. We had some massive hail as well, did a lot of car damage. Lucky for me, I drive a POS!

Fluoride has been put in Americans drinking water since 1954. It has never been proven that drinking fluoride prevents tooth decay.

* Almost all of western Europe has rejected water fluoridation.

* Two-thirds of US communities, when given the chance to vote, have voted against fluoridation. Over 70 US communities have rejected water fluoridation since 1999.

* The fluoride chemical added to water is an unprocessed, industrial waste-product from the pollution scrubbers of the phosphate fertilizer industry.

* A growing body of evidence indicates that water fluoridation is ineffective and unnecessary.

* Fluoride's primary 'benefits' are topical, not systemic. Thus, there is no need to swallow fluoride.

* Children are receiving too much fluoride today. There is a need to reduce, not increase, current exposures.

* Just as fluoride can damage cells in developing teeth, fluoride can damage cells in other organs as well.

*Years ago, non-prescription Sodium Fluoride tablets were supplied in Australia with 'S5 Schedule under the poisons act' printed on the label - as was fluoride toothpaste.

* New legislation now classifies fluoride as a poison

*In 1973, 2-year-old Jason Burton of Queensland died of fluoride poisoning from ingesting at the one time no more than 6 fluoride tablets.

*In 1997, the US Food and Drug Administration required toothpaste to carry the warning: "Use only a pea-sized amount and supervise child's brushing and rinsing [to minimize swallowing]. The warning instructed parents to keep toothpaste "out of the reach of children under 6 years of age," adding the precautionary message "if the child swallows more than a pea-sized amount, contact a Poison Control Center immediately".

Look for RAT POISON, look at ingredients - there is only one ingredient- Sodium Fluoride, the most toxic, ionic molecule outside of Potassium Dichromate.

There is a scene in the movie "Men in Black" where Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith are at the alien receiving center, in the alien technologies room. Tommy Lee Jones is showing Smith these new technologies and he picks up what looks like a one-inch-in-diameter CD-ROM for playing music and says, "I guess I'll have to buy the Beatles' White Album again."

Using this example, why is Tommy Lee Jones saying "I guess I'll have to buy the Beatles White Album again"? He obviously already owns it; the word "again" indicates that. What he is really saying is "I already have a full license to listen to and enjoy the music that is on the Beatles White Album that I now have on CD. But things being what they are with the greedy, pirate recording companies, in order to get the Beatles White Album on this new one-inch disk medium, I'll have to buy another license as well. Come to think of it, being as old as I am, I paid for a full license for the original 12" vinyl LP, the Eight-Track Tape, the cassette, and the CD. No, wait! I just remembered. I bought the eight-track twice and the cassette three times. Those old tape players ate a lot of good music."
In this scenario, you might expect Will Smith to ask:

1) Isn't there a way to return the CDROM and pay for just upgrading to the new one inch medium ?

A) The record companies have at no time in the past nor are they likely in the future to (without buyers boycotting) implement any form of new media format exchange program.

2) What happens if the CD cracks or gets scratched (which is hard to avoid)? Can you get it replaced, or do you have to buy a full license every time?

A) You are out of luck, you have to buy a full license every time.

3) Is there any way to make a backup? That way you can store the original in a safe place and replace the backup when it becomes unplayable.

A) Currently (amid much pig squeeling in the background) you can make backups with your computer, but the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) using the DMCA (Digital Millenium Copright Act) is working furiously to plug that hole with DRM (Digital Rights Management) which if implemented, will cripple your computer so that you can't. Already Windows XP users are crippled to some degree. (Microsoft is leading the charge, trying to establish themselves as the de-facto DRM "Copy Cops").

4) What happened to all of those old legally licensed copies you bought?

A) The dollar value of legal, legitimate, licensed music on unusable media that has ended up in dumps and landfills over the years is undoubtedly huge and probably staggering. I don't have a figure, but ask yourself how many times you have had to replace a tape or a disk because it became unusable. If you're young, ask your folks how many trash cans they could fill up with LPs, 45s, eight-tracks, cassettes, DVD's, VHS cassettes, Betamax cassettes, and CD-ROMs that became unusable over the years. The generally universal answer would be "a lot"! Now multiply that times millions of homes in the U.S. alone. Yup, "a lot" fits quite well!

Conclusion:

Thanks man, trying to get as many up as possible. And yeah, travel is pretty cool. The one problem with all my photos is that most are hard copies, and not on the computer, so Im limited to what I can put up. And I also try to find the more entertaining ones as well!

I wouldn't call that a poor mans dinner. maybe its just where you live, but we eat potatoes like that all the time around here. Ever heard of the restaurant Hungry Hobo?

As a matter of fact, 2 nights ago we had potatoes for supper. I used sour cream and bacon bits, but my daughters favorite is the "Taco Tatoe" with Lettuce, tomato, and nacho chips added to it.

I'm so poor I can hardly pay attention, much less go see either of those movies, but they both look really good. Scanner Darkly (http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/ascannerdarkly.html) Looks very interseting also.

It was more that I couldnt afford paying for my girl, her sister and her borefiend, plus gas, snacks and such.

Its awesome In Detroit there is still a drive-in movie theater with a little heater for each car or in my case van, plus each theater has a different station you turn on to hear the movie over your radio. I'm going this weekend. You pay your seven bucks and you can stay all night, they show three movies until three in the morning.
