I still live! LOL! To tell you the truth I've never had such difficulty starting something with some until I met her. It's not that she's mean, or doesn't talk to me...it's me being afraid that if I try to make a decent move, that it will scare her and it will be over. I've been treating what we currently have going on like glass. But deep down I know I have to do something more or I will lose her completely. So I either step it up and try harder and take that risk, or I don't do much more and risk losing without really ever trying.
It is all very complicated at the moment...but only because I'm making it that way. I know she likes me, it's very obvious! It's me fighting with myself and thinking way to much. Mainly about things that probably aren't even happening or will never happen. You know what I mean? I always seem to get completely lost in questions like, What if...then by some form of craziness I get jealous of people. See, I'm destroying myself slowly! LOL! No really, I just need to stop thinking and just do things. Anyway...I have a feeling we will find out quite soon.

Well Cass, here's my story... Kat's parents are very strick conservatives, from a small town. And their daughter is now going to a huge ass college in the middle of the state. Their baby daughter is off away from them. And she's there one semester, and she meets at 23 year old guy that is out of college already. Her parents hated me, and it was a huge challenge that we had to get over before anything could start up. Well, I kept hammering and hammering that over time, things would get better and that her parents would respect her decision if she decided to get together with me. Not only did that happen, but there was another guy that she was considering dating. I kept at it, talked to her as much as I could, and most importantly, I went on a 5 wide hail marry, and I told her just how she made me feel. Well, she decided that she wanted to be together with me, and let me tell you, the tight stomachs and the horrible feelings I had before she actually told me that this was gonna happen was all worth what happened in the end. And if it hadn't worked out, I still would have been ok, because I knew that I had tried my hardest, and at the very least, she knew that she had made me feel that way. Even if she hated me, at least she knew, and that I had told her.
I don't know...perhaps a story that relates...

hey everyone. haven't been in here for a good while, but I finally got finished with my holiday job. So, how's everyone? not so well here. I've been watching things around me burn....but luckily, not my house. These wildfires are fast! In less than 2 min., approx. 200 yards of dead grass burned! I was freakin' out! This all happened around midnight (central time, US) last night. They (firemen) put it out just before it reached a subdivision of rich people's houses. Talk about weird? Just 2 days before that, the other corner of the field caught on fire, more than 1/4 of a mile away, and it was headed right for my house! That's a scary feeling. We haven't had any rain since october....not one drop. I sure hope that things get better for us, as far as the weather goes. I'll keep everyone up to date if any more fires break out around me.

Indeed it does. I am going to spill it here shortly. She already knows I like her. It's hard for her not to since when we had our new years eve party, people got drunk and got really big mouths. So I'm just going to be telling her myself and sharing some feelings. I hope it works out. But in the case that it doesn't (though I really hope it does), then at least I said something. Course, I haven't really been around either, so I can't really say much, but still...yah know? Where's Carrie and BB and the rest of the gang!

So guys... I'm thinking there's a good chance that I am going back to school to get my masters in Education....
mathmission

talked with my advisor today, he seemed interested in the idea...talked about all the possibilities and whatnot. So I think I'll be looking into that...

Things with Kathleen have been pretty good as of late. There were some interesting conversations that took place, but I guess I can leave those out for now... Either way, I think things are going pretty well for us only have been dating for a little over two weeks.
mathmission
01-20-2006, 11:16 PM
Cass, how are things on your front?
mathmission
01-20-2006, 11:17 PM
And PB, what's new man?
mathmission
01-20-2006, 11:18 PM
And Tadd...enjoying your non-snow FL? What else is new with you man?
mathmission
01-20-2006, 11:19 PM
And Obi... what' going on in your neck of the woods? How's the testing of the software going?
mathmission
01-20-2006, 11:20 PM
And Tex? Where have you been?!
mathmission
01-20-2006, 11:21 PM
and Carrie?! Has class started back up?
mathmission
01-20-2006, 11:22 PM
And BB? Where did you go? Last I heard, things were really busy for you. I haven't even seen you on MSN or anything.
mathmission
01-20-2006, 11:24 PM
And Math..holy cow man, where have you been. Its like you've just stopped posting or something, and then bam, every-now-and-then, you come back for some sort of post-a-thon.
mathmission
01-20-2006, 11:26 PM
Ah well Math... I forgive you.
mathmission
01-20-2006, 11:29 PM

mathmission

I currently have 41% of these posts! We need more posting in here. I know that every now and then we have a slow spell, but come on! You can even smash your head on the keyboard and post here, anything. I saw earlier that there were 8 people looking in the news section... if only this thread had their numbers!
mathmission
01-22-2006, 12:51 AM
I remember the days of the crazy ladies... 300 posts in one night!
mathmission
01-22-2006, 12:52 AM
Even I can't do that!
mathmission
01-22-2006, 12:53 AM
Ah well..
So Cass, little update... things with me and Kat are going great! I mean... massively great. I ended up taking her downtown KC for a nice dinner and to my place afterwards. It was a quite wonderful evening!
mathmission
01-22-2006, 12:55 AM
I do hope that all is going well for everyone! Outside of that, nothing really new. I am going to be doing some car work tomorrow. For those that know cars, I will be replacing a faulty Master Cylinder for my break line. There is a rubber stopper inside that has a small crack, allowing fluid to seap into the cylinder when I press the breaks, making no fluid go to the actual breaks....
Makes hills a lot more dangerous.

Oh well ... I have not been posting much for the last six weeks or so ... but at least I visited 2-3 times a day in order to keep up with all the "exciting" stuff.
Iam so proud of you Mathmission ... (I think you know what I am talking about)!!!
As far as the second part is concerned (How ya been, bud?) ... lets just say that hell can't be much worse than everything I've been through (the least said about it the better, me thinks)
But enough of this allready...!!!
Allthough Iam physically, mentally and emotionally stretched to the limit... Iam not going to give up!!!
