Kudos to my friend technobeast and everyone who helped him with that excellent article. :thumbsup:

I particularly liked Paul Quinn's answer on this question:

technobeast: What do you think about the latest threats and lawsuits the RIAA is leading against file-swappers?

PQ: Unfortunately, I think it's working in the near term. My hope is that this backfires tremendously somehow. I hate how the RIAA equates copyright infringement with theft -- To me, theft requires removing an object from another person's possession.

RIAA is spinning this effort as protecting copyrights, but it's really about keeping and gaining control.
