System of a Down's Mezmerize makes its debut atop the Billboard chart. It sold 453,000 copies to give the band its second No. 1 opening, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Mezmerize, the first half of a planned double album, tops Toby Keith's Honkytonk University, which opens at No. 2 with 283,000. Kem's Album II arrives at No. 5 with 140,000 behind Mariah Carey and last week's No. 1, Dave Matthews Band. American Idol Season 4:The Showstoppersopens at No. 6 with 83,000, followed by 50 Cent, Gwen Stefani, Weezer and Def Leppard's Rock of Ages: The Definitive Collection, which sold 66,000 to open at No. 10
