What's your favorite program ever?

Okay, this should be interesting. What is your favorite computer program ever? It can even be an operating system if you want to put that or a dead program like Napster.

Right now, my favorite is Nero Burning ROM (even though version 6.0 won't work for my burner, I still think this is the best CD burning software ever.)

WOW! Now that is a hard question. I have many favorites, but the one that has saved my bacon the most often, would probably be my AVG antivirus, free addition. I would be my narrow choice for favorite, although I will give it some more thought. ;)

How about IE? I use that every day. I'm not sure if that qualifies, but if not mine would also have to be WinAmp.

hey boinky, i happen to like IE. It just feels better than other browsers IMO. I understand that it lacks popup control and takes up a little more mem, but i like it. Hey, if u can run it, you might as well.

IE seems to do everything wrong and nothing right on my computer, lol


plus, firebird is actually a better conformer to the W3 standards of HTML...IE is the one who does it wrong.

crashes spontanesouly on 1/4 of the graphics sites i love to visit (ex, spoono)

i was sick of installing patches to make the patch that i installed yesterday "secure"

and finally, i was sick of the tracking lurvliness of IE

oh, and it would never open stuff in new windows, so intead of reinstalling, i just got firebird :P

Because of IE, I have to have two different CSS files for my site - one for IE and one for everything else. Purely because IE isn't standards-compliant.

I'm still learning how to use all of photoshop's features but it is an awesome program.
