This tutorial is a short one, and some what similar to the glass orbs etc.

Start with a box any size you want. In this tutorial, I am using 500 X 100, because I am going to be making a whole string of Pearls.

Chose the color you are going to make your pearls, then
Choose the elliptical tool. Make a small circle in the box.
Fill the circle with the color you chose to use for your pearl.

Now, Go to Filter>Render>Lensflare>150mm Prime
Stick a lens flare right inthe middle of the colored circle.

Now, in your layer pallet, right click, and chose innershadow. Choose a color that is a few shades lighter than the original shade. Play around until you find something you like, or you can use the same settings I used here:

Now your going ot add a drow shadow. This is really personal preference so play with the size until you get a nice round looking pearl.

Click Ctrl+J to duplicate the pearls. Repeat until you have as many as you want....making sure that they are close together, but not touching, or over lapping.

Now click Shift+Ctrl+E. this will merge visible.

And you have a string of pearls....
