Hey guys and gals I am on a mad search for the Death record of my father.
My dad passed away 12-24-86 in a car vs semi trailer accident.
I am now married to a semi driver and we talk about things like this happening and how "he" would deal if it happened to him....well he says he wouldn't. So this is why I am looking, I'd like to find the man who my father was in the accident with but I'm not having ANY luck.

Any tips on where to look would be greatly appreciated!:D

It should be in the Police Record of the accident....
I would call or go down to the Police Station & ask them to check for it.

It might be obvious ...but not considered....type the date of the accident (and / or geographic location...in Google. It just might have been a noteworthy story that day...and there might be clues.

Also try the browser Kartoo.
It has some cool features that Google dosn't...it's even more date sensitive

...Hope this helps:)

btw....for fun...try typing in your birthday.. date and year (Google or Kartoo)- to see what happened the day you were born:D

to amplify on my above remarks...in Google go to advanced search....type in DEATH ..or...ACCIDENT...on the first line...and type the date like this 12 24 86 on the second line.

..or try typing in (state or city)DEATH RECORDS 1986
... (state or city) Accident records 1986
... your DADS FULL NAME

...or just experiment around with combinations of the above info

...if none of this works for you and you really want to find out ...for 29.95... you can go to www.netdetective.com ...and they should be able to fulfill your quest for the knowlege.:dontknow:
