Any one who has registered, but not recieved a conformation e-mail, and who are not COPPA users post here so I can pull your account and make the changes needed.
I have found several people who are registering are not entering a birthdate, or are using a false birthday. If you are not atleast 13 by the date your register you will be entered in as a COPPA user.
If you are over 18 but don't want to use your real birthdate, you need to use a birthdate that makes you atleast 13 years of age or you will not be able to view the adult section.
Anyone who is an adult, but can not see the adult section and wants to, either post here, or contact an admin. We will get you fixed up asap.

Well thanks Wiz. I guess when I was 13 there wasn't a (public) internet, so I never had to learn about COPPA since using the internet. Guess I'll have to know this stuff should I ever create a website or forum. Learn something new every day.
By the way, welcome to Unite the Cows!:)

Ben, You only need one if you can't post in the forums.
If you don't see little locks on the forums, and you can see the extreme topics, you should be all set:)
Welcome to the herd BTW!  :bigwave:

I am unable to login - I used the password you snet but then it does not let me login. I ask for teh password to be resnet and when I try to login with that, it says that it was issued over 24 hours ago - when it fact it was just 2 minutes previously.
User name is RiscyinDXB
Frustrated :(

RiscyinDXB,
I sent you another password reminder, not sure if it will help any. We show you as being a registered member, so not sure what the holdup is. You might have a cookie issue or something. Maybe Carrie can help you out when she stops by.

Thanks LOTD and Carrie, for teh swift replies.
A bit better - I can login, and check some threads, but then when I click on a link it asks for the user login again.
I have cleared the cookies as well - I am using Firefox is that maybe causing problems.
Also I do not get the option tgo to CP so I can change the password etc - very odd.
Also when I try to post a message it says that my username is already in use!
Any suggestions?

Hi LOTD and Carrie,
Thanks for your help.
My username is now showing up as online in the front page, I get a welcome message to me :) BUT (- you knew it was coming), when I click on anything eg CS, to reply to messages, it asks again for my user name and pwd.
What is going on?

Yes for some reason there seems to be a problem with FireFox users lately. Not sure why though because the site wasn't like that before!
I hope you have as much fun as we do here!
