Just wondering if any of my fellow cows were photographers or just like to take photos? I run a small action sports photography business on the side, but I like to take photos in general.
If you have a flickr account, please post a link as I love to see others work and get ideas on angles and lighting.

Some great pics there Tadd. I particularly like this one T-6 Texan low pass on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
Are you self learning?
What camera do you use Tad?
I have a Nikon D60 with the standard 18 - 55 AF/DX and I have a 55 - 200 AF/DX. Although I'm getting more away from using the AF and going manual. Most the time AF, doesn't focus in on what I am looking at.
Or if I am trying to get shots of the moon, 200 aint quite enough yet, I think I need a 500..
Panth,
I only upload a lower resolution image to Flickr with the largest dimension being around 1024. If I want to watermark any of my shots, I do it before hand and then upload them.
Thanks for the comments there PB. I did some stuff with film back when I was in high school, so I understand the operation of the camera and what all the settings mean. Other than that, it's mostly self taught. I do use flickr and other sites for references to see what a persons settings were, so that I can hopefully recall it at a later time.
My current gear is a Canon 30D (I want the 7D really bad, but can't afford it yet).
Lenses:
Canon 10-22
Canon 17-55 (kit lens, and rarely used)
Sigma 28-200 (normal walk around lens)
Canon 70-200 2.8 IS USM (L-Series)
Canon 100-400 (my personal favorite for sports)
Lensbaby 2.0 (really interesting gadget)
I was drooling over a Nikon D5000 last week. I could have picked it up with a standard 18-55 lens, for slightly more than what I paid for my D60 last year.
Man I was choked when I saw that.
I'll probably hang onto my D60 for another year, and then upgrade to what ever comes after the D5000. I like the 45deg swivel display. Too many times trying to get a shot that I can't see in the view finder. I end up switching to my Nikon L19 point and shoot to get the shot. 8MP the pictures turn just ok most of the time..
For some of the stuff I have been photographing lately, 55 - 200 just doesn't cut it.
