So I have my wisdom teeth taken out, and am doing miserable. At least I get some Vicodin
But, I've definitely caught a case of the chipmunk syndrome.
Hopefully I won't feel like crap soon.

Scythe, I know it might hurt but use Listerine. It will keep infections from happening and help with the healing. I had all 4 of mine removed at the same time. I just had them put me out and I'm glad they did.
They had to cut my gums completely open and use a dental version of a pry-bar to get them out. At the end, I only got hydro-codeine. So you lucked out.

I had 2 sets +1 of wisdom teeth removed, I have 1 left total of nine wisdom teeth. (which is why I am so smart eh)
I can't take vicodin, It is similar to codeine and contains Acetaminophen both of which I have highly allergic to. So I get percodan or percocet they always make the bad pain go away.
what does it feel like to take vicodin?

Ow...I hope you get past it soon. I know dry-socket is something to watch out for. Mine are all still in, so I have no advice.

wisdom teeth suck for sure. vicodin and beer will make it all better. dont suck on anything like a straw for the risk of a dry socket like skittles said.
I love vicodin! It makes me so loopy! I started getting my wisdom teeth when I was nine. Weird, I know. I still haven't needed to get them removed though, thank god.

Vicodin is basically between Tylenol 2 and 3. It makes you feel tipsy for the most part.
I would use Listerine, but I have degradable stitches and the alcohol will weaken those. So, instead my doctor gave me some other anti-biotic.
Overall I'm doing okay, I just wish the swelling would go down. It's just a pain in the ass
J get yourself some TEA TREE oil mouthwash. Tea Tree oil is a natural anti-bacterial, you can get it at any good health food store. Its great stuff for problem teeth.Thanks for all the kind words guys/gals
