I've had something similar to this at a forum I use to mod:
Members with more then fifty(50) posts can nominate another member of the board, not themselves, for up to three nominations, This will last one week starting today, 12/22/06 (Subject to change if lack of participation)
After a week or so, I will make another thread showing the final nominations, The members of the forum will then vote on who they think deserves to win, there will be a first, second, and third for each topic. But I will explain the second part when the time comes.
Most Productive Poster: (One who has minimal spamming, Give assistance to others, posts consist more then a few words, gives on-topic suggestions)

2)JiMiThInG
3)kluelos
4)PyroniC
5)Kastang
6)mGa
Best Spammer: (One who posts a lot, some constructive posts, some not, but overall good poster)
1)Pantharen
2)Sola Kusanagi
3)Teurastaja

Dark Shroud
Worst Spammer: (Wannabe spammer, 90% of posts consist of nothing that contributes to anything, most posts are only a few words long)

Biggest Noob: (Similar to Worst spammer, but often types in caps, uses "leet speak", gives pointless suggestions, and blames others for their problems)

Remember, only members with over 50 posts will be counted(That doesnt mean someone with over 50 posts cant vote for someone with 25 posts, you can do that)
Here is an example of what has to be done now to make your vote count:

I dont see it being an issue personally, If it is I'll work out something. On the other forum that I did this on, it turned out very fun actually, there were really no hard feelings

Well... I hope it doesn't happen, but I can see "some people" saying "You voted ___ for ___? Well that's not surprising as everyone knows you're a moron, how could you possibly vote ___ in with all his horseshit?" etc (It's already happened in such innocent threads as "What are you listening to?")
Please edit the original post with a short description of each category.

We have polls, which are anonymous for that very reason. Other boards that have had non-anonymous pols have had problems.
Some people take offense to being named for anything, regardless of being good or bad.
Personally I dont give a shit.
People who are easily offended make me laugh.
