• New DDoS Planned Against RIAA

DDoS RIAA Strikes AgainFollowing the recent shutdown of LimeWire in which the Recording Industry Association of Amercia (RIAA) played a large role, a new DDoS attack is planned to take down the RIAA's website for the second time.

The RIAA website was the second website to be forced offline by Anonymous as part of Operation Payback which began many weeks ago.

LimeWire was once the most installed file sharing application around the globe. It's shutdown has caused quite a stir in the file sharing community, especially with Anonymous. So much in fact that they have planned a second hit on the RIAA's website.

The planned attack will commence around 4pm EST 10/29 (tomorrow). The power of Anonymous is not to be underestimated, especially when we look at the damage they caused to ACS:LAW and more recently ACAPOR.

We have a feeling a storm is moving in the direction of the RIAA, can they cope with whats to come?

On another note, we have come up with some great alternatives to Limewire. You will be back sharing in no time!
