Since it's an ATI chipset on there you should be ok. I could look around, does it have to be Euro though?

Why don't you find out what your mobo has: http://www.cpuid.com/pcwizard.php
Also, see if your mobo has a firmware update.
A PCI express spec is always 'xnn' where nn is the number of lanes. This is entirely orthogonal to the PCIe version it supports: You can have x16 cards and mainboards for PCIe 1.1 or PCIe 2.0. 3.0 is coming soonOriginally Posted by Moe70
There can be a backwards incompatibility for video cards though, where a 2.0 card won't work in a 1.1 bios, so you need to nail down the mainboard spec.
Yeah, we need to know the mobo first. This of course relates to the fact that PCI-E is moving beyond what the cards are even up to since 1.1 hasn't even been maxed out yet. The nVidia 280 is about the only card that's up there. This is just another reason why I'm waiting at least another full year before I build a new PC, just so some of the other specs can flesh out. Firewire 1600 & 3200 are coming as well as USB 3.0, firewire is still better though.
