Thread: Tired of begging for invites and maybe being scammed?

Tracker Checker is a small and easy to use program that regularly checks the status of private BitTorrent trackers for open registrations.

When a tracker with open registrations is found, a popup informs the user. Just bring up the software from the traybar, double click on the tracker site that says "OPEN!", and your default browser will be launched together with the sign up page.


Virtually all popular private trackers, such as TorrentBytes and FileList, are supported. The author's website is in Slovenian, but the software is in English. The .NET framework is needed to run this program. You can also set the number of seconds for the checking period.

Very simple, straight forward, free and useful program.

I cannot find the link on the webpage to download it as i dont understand slovenian.

The link was to a direct download, but now its a 404 page.

This is a neat program. Now if only I knew addresses of the best trackers... hehe

I could see what the most requested trackers are in the invite thread, although three and four letter codes that represent tracker names don't really help me

I alphabetized the tracker list in the XML file, so it's easier to scan through the list in the program and find the tracker you want to check (beforehand it was ALL mixed up.)

I also added about four trackers from the list of the trackers I normally use.

If anyone's interested in hosting the XML file, let me know. It's around 9kb.

I made a few changes (adding a few trackers and changing supertorrent's domain extension to the correct one) and I think it still needs a little work to make sure every tracker is working properly (I haven't tested it out completely) but it works AT LEAST as well as the original one, and now it's organized.
