    Trackerless Bitcomet

Just wondering if the newest version of Bitcomet supports the DHT protocol (trackerless) of the latest bittorent engine.... I'm aware of the new Azureus supporting it.

If not, are there plans to support it and when or what version can it be reasonably expected?

    TIA.

The original BitTorrent client/protocol only implimented it in Beta stage on the 17th... so it may take a little while before it's added to all the other clients

It probably won't start being included in the other clients until it's reached the final testing stage in the original BitTorrent client/protocol.

So basically, a more secure BitComet/BitTorrent? Doesn't seem much more secure, but the security level right now in BT is so low, It's scary.

No. It is not for secure, but for shorten the time for find other peers. By using Trackerless network, you won't encounter 10060/10061 "Tracker too busy" error again.

I've never gotten that error. But, unimproved security sucks. It really would be better if it was more secure.
