    Also SLOW SLOW speeds

I'm having the same problem with BitComet as I am having with BitSpirit. From the information I can gather it seems to be some sort of incompatibility with the official core? Using the official client or shadow's variation, I easily can do 13k/s up and 80k/s down. Using BitSpirit or BitComet its always 13k/s up and 2k/s down ><. I've opened the ports in my router, which is also UPNP.

    BitComet is running on:
CPU : Unknown CPU Typ 2231 MHz
    RAM size : 510.48 MB
OS Version: Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 1 (Build 2600)

Upload slots optimization rules file loaded.
    Start Listening at Port:38138
Windows XP ICF Status: Firewall port is opened.
    Update Local IP: 192.168.0.2
Windows XP ICS Status: you are on the Gateway PC, use ICF instead.
    UPnP Status: Found Gateway Device!

    So, it isn't the router.

I'm connected to 20 seeds and 40 peers, which prove that the ports are open.

I'm currently stuck with a UPNP and Unicode compliant version of a modified Shadow's build and I reallly really want to use something new :/ But i'm stuck with it because everything else downloads slower than dialup :/

It finally sped up for like 10 seconds but now its back to 2kb/sec. That was probably a connection with someone else on BitComet? Sigh.

    ----
    More information:

Its only downloading from 4 peers but uploading to 18!?!?

    ---
When using the official core/Shadow's variant, I'm connected to 121 peers and 58 seeds for the same torrent..maybe this is the reason why it is so slow with the other clients.

Try using a different port. Things like 10055 work great for me.

Hmm..dunno if its the different port, or is it cause i set # of connections to 300 instead of auto, the speeds are decent now But there was a problem with the newest release (0.50) where it wouldn't start downloading this resume (it would haskc-check repeatedly and never start) so i had to go back to using Shadow's for that. I even tried removing the torrent from the list and re-adding, doesn't work. All the other torrents are fine so far though, weird.

I'm having bad download speeds too... and it's only with bitcomet... ABC and others download well

this is bad... I cant get a better speeds than 2KB/s when the normal should be 14KB/s... maybe bitcomet could open more than one port at the same time... I read on the FAQ about this, but I dont know any better explanation for this ugly download speeds...

And what FAQ says that the download speed can be slowed down by only using one port? Sounds like I've got to send a correction email to someone.

Set the 「Minimun upload rate to keep」in 0.51 0415 build.

My case is 10 times worse. After upgrading from 0.49 to new version, I now have zero upload and download speed ALL the time. The BC keeps connecting for days. I can see from the list that it detects more than 10 seeds but it just don't want to proceed. What's going on here?

Although I'm using the LAN and connecting to the internet via HTTP1.0, I could still download stuff using the old 0.49 in the past. I have already set my proxy. With 0.51, I can do nothing..... I keep changing the listening port but it doesn't help.

What's the meaning of this error message: Tracker return error code 503?
